Cyril Satorsky

Born London, 1927
Leeds College of Art - National Diploma in Design 1944
Awarded a Royal Scholarship in 1946 to the Royal College of Art
Graduated 1949 - Associate of the Royal College of Art with First Class Honors
Awarded a Royal Traveling Scholarship to study Spanish Moorish art in Spain
and a Royal Research Scholarship in painting for a post-graduate year of study at 
The Royal College of Art
Worked as an artist and designer in London and at the University of Texas in Austin.  Taught at Leicester University, Hammersmith College of Art, Camberwell College of Arts and Crafts and at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, where he served as chairman of the Department of Visual Communication
